The Bariga LCDA Legislative Arm held a Parliamentary tribute in honour of the Late Honourable Ogun Suliat Yetunde, who died on Sunday, 20th September، following a brief illness. ‎‎
Honourable Suliat was an active voice in the Lagos State Youth Parliament, where she contributed immensely, therefore, the tribute, under the leadership of House Leader Rt. Hon. Wasiu Adeleke Balogun was held in recognition of her contributions to the community and the impact of her service during her lifetime. ‎‎
Additionally, it was a platform for members of the Parliament to celebrate her life and achievements, while paying their respects to her. ‎‎
Late Honourable Suliat was a dedicated member of the Lagos State Youth Parliament representing Somolu Constituency 2 / Bariga Local Government.
She was well known for her youth and environmental based advocacy including as a community development strategist, green energy advocate, and a LAWMA Academy Ambassador.‎‎‎
