The Ikeja Special Offences Court has granted a N20 million bail to popular social media influencer, Blessing CEO who faces two separate EFCC fraud cases tied to a single Lekki property.
The social media influencer has pleaded not guilty to the fraud allegations which involves over N105 million from separate property based transactions. The N20m bail granted to the influencer is for a case involving N69.15 million which she was charged with in June.
Prosecutors on the case alleged that the influencer falsely represented herself as a Lekki property owner, and induced a five year lease payment of the said amount by Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic.
The charge for the N69.15 million case happened to be on the 10th of June, the very day she was granted a N10 million bail for a N36 million fraud allegation.
The social media influencer has long been in and out of criminal allegations by the EFCC and the Nigeria Police since 2019, with over three of such cases to her name over the years.
However, the influencer is known to plead not guilty to charges levied against her so far.
While the date for one of the two cases remains before the Court, the set date for the other trial is October 12.
