‎Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated his deputy and the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat Kadri on his 62nd birthday on Saturday, September 19, through a statement released in advance on Friday, September 18.‎‎
In the statement, issued by his Special Advice on Media and Advocacy, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu praised the celebrant, describing him as “trusted, competent and dedicated” for his years of commitment and service to Lagos and Nigeria at large.
‎‎”His commitment to public service and the development of Lagos State and Nigeria, through various positions he has held in the past and his current role as Deputy Governor continues to inspire many.” he stated. ‎‎
He added that Dr. Hamzat is a trusted partner, committed public servant, who is dedicated effective and impactful governance, the growth and development the state. ‎‎
The governor then urged electorates to vote for Dr. Hamzat, as the APC gubernatorial candidate, highlighting his strengths and ability to govern the state efficiently and noting that he will continue to ensure good governance for the state.
